The Demijohn Vase in Fireland Cherry

This vase is hewn from a solid block of Fireland Cherry Wood using the ancient technique of woodturning. Fireland Cherry (called Lenga in Argentina) is native to the Southern Andes range in Argentina and Chile and is a semi-durable wood with beautiful rippling and color.

The vases are treated with natural beeswax and are not designed to hold water. Instead, these vases are made for dried bouquets or can serve as standalone sculptures.
