BELLOCQ Tea Atelier

The Garden Tea Collection

Editor's Notes:

Bellocq's Garden Party Collection celebrates their favorite things—you guessed it: fabulous tea and flowers. Within find two of their loveliest, unabashedly organic floral blends, Etoile de l'Inde, a gorgeous green-tea blend with notes of rose and passionfruit and the Queen's Guard, a black tea blend with stately notes of rose, rose geranium, and dusky lavender. Both are heavenly and share a passionate following with their clientele. Note: pairs well with oversized sun hats and behind-the-hedge hijinks.

The Fine Print:

No. 52, Etoile de l'Inde : An intoxicating tropical blend of organic Chinese green and delicate Jasmine teas enveloped within a voluptuous haze of ripe passionfruit, lush rose, and marigold. Evocative of late-afternoon rain showers and the fever experienced with the rush of young love. Fragrant and passionate, Etoile de l'Inde is one of Bellocq's most romantic and requested blends.

  • Ingredients: organic dragonwell, jasmine silver needles, rose petals, marigold, and natural essences

No. 47, the Queen's Guard Inspired by Bellocq's memorable shop in London and classic English gardens full of dewy stone walkways, warm sun, and freshly tilled earth. One of their most popular teas, the Queen's Guard is the perfect afternoon tea, celebrating two of their favorite early summer flowers, rose and lavender. Well balanced, elegant, and remarkably well suited to a slice of lemon-scented loaf cake, drizzled with icing.

  • Ingredients: organic black Ceylon tea, rose petals, organic lavender, organic cornflowers, and natural essence
